A large and powerful proboscis monkey, Nasalis larvatus, a mature male can fetch up to 25kg (55lbs), probably the leader of the troop, crossing the Managol river, an affluent of the Kinabatangan, on a man made suspended "monkey's bridge", showing his virility.
